The International Baccalaureate is a nonprofit educational foundation, motivated by its mission, focused on the student. At the heart of the mission at every level is the Life Long Learner Profile. The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a recognized leader in the field of international education, encouraging students to be active learners, well-rounded individuals and engaged world citizens. Founded in 1968, we currently work with 3,400 schools in 143 countries to develop and offer three challenging programmes to more than 1,000,000 students aged 3 to 19 years.The International School of Milan is an IB World School and follows all three programmes, the Primary Years Programme from Kindergarden to grade 6, the Middle Years Programme from Grade 7 to grade 11 and the Diploma programme in grades 12 and 13.
